American Harvest

Nicol Sayre will be signing her original doll creations at American Harvest on Saturday, September 11th from 10am to 1pm.  As you already know quantities of Nicol’s dolls are extremely limited, so arrive early for the best selection.  She will be featuring Autumn and Halloween dolls.  In addition, we will be selling her licensed designs for ESC.  These wonderful Halloween designs are being manufactured for Nicol by ESC.  The Halloween items include Caged Witches (that is a witch doll where the lower body is wood slats), paper mache witch shoes, a witch on a crow and many other designs.  Because we are Nicol’s Home Store, she will also sign the licensed products that we sell that day only.  We are very fortunate to have Nicol at our store….Nicol does not sign these items at any other store but American Harvest!

If you are unable to attend her signing at American Harvest, you may call the store at 925-485-1577 during the signing and purchase her dolls and licensed items over the phone, please ask for Sharon.  They will not be available online through our website shopping cart until after September 11th.  Yes, if you purchase over the phone, Nicol will sign her delightful creations for you!  But, we really would like to see you in person at American Harvest on September 11th!

Roger and Bonnie H.went to Disneyland with us last week.  We celebrated both Roger and Rodger's birthdays.  Yes, it was confusing for the Disneyland staff!  Bonnie survived the Hotel Tower of Terror, but I don't think that we will ever get her on it again.

 Debbee, Sharon and Karin loving those great "Debbee" creations.  Wendy Addison joined in the festivities ending our day on a high note.

We have had many people request pictures of Debbee's new jewelry line.  Here is a sampling of her jewelry as shown on her most recent postcard.  Notice the little angel in the upper right hand corner.  She is a very limited creation that Debbee named "Mother's Day Angel".  All of these items are available at our American Harvest shop, but are not listed on our website's shopping cart yet.  You can call the shop for additional information 925-485-1577.  Debbee has confirmed that she will be selling a few of her artist proof pieces this Friday night at American Harvest.  What a great opportunity to have a few of Debbee's unique color choices!

Sometimes a gray day unfolds to reveal sparkle and brilliance that lies just beneath the surface.  Such was a day recently when I stepped through the door at Wendy Addison's Theatre of Dreams.  I have traveled there many times before, but this time was especially unique.  I was there to pick up her much anticipated book.  The "hippie ghost town", as Rodger and I affectionately call Port Costa, was lively today.  However, the peaceful atmosphere that I find so alluring is always present.  Wendy's Theatre of Dreams is a place where my soul can rest and my spirit can be rejuvenated.

As Wendy turned the pages of her book, she revealed a very personal look into her own artistic journey of imagination, discovery and delight.

In honor of the debut of the American Harvest Exclusive Party Fairy, Debbee made a one-of-a-kind color change, Ellee the Elephant wearing a pink dress.  This piece was not for sale but was the prize in our drawing.  Only one was made and there will never be another exactly like her!  John was the lucky winner of this fabulous piece!

Not only did we celebrate the day with Debbee’s newest Spring lineup, but there were her terrific designs for Halloween, Christmas, patriotic, angels, fairies and fruit and veggies!

Sally and daughter, Tracey made the trip across the SF Bay and found numerous "Debbee’s" that just had to go back home with them!

We also carry all of Debbee’s glass ornaments that are made in Germany.  Debbee unveiled her newest glass ornaments that are so top secret that I am not allowed to show you pictures of them yet!  Debbee brought in four prototypes and everyone was very excited about them.  When I have Debbee’s permission, I’ll post pictures of them, but it may be awhile as the final designs are still being finalized.

What a glorious spring day at American Harvest!  Debbee Thibault’s Party Fairy (an American Harvest color exclusive) has arrived and is bringing lots of her friends to the shop on Saturday, April 19th.
