A VIEW FROM OUR PARIS HOTEL WINDOW
Posted on May 25th, 2007  Comments

Sharon and I like to stay in small French hotels in Paris. Wendy Addison recommended Hotel des Carmes in the Latin Quarter. She said that the hotel staff was superb and the location terrific. Wendy was right! Notre Dame was only a short five minute walk and the Pantheon was just up the street to the left. Also, there were great little brasseries, cafes, and flower shops right there. The Maubert-Mutualite metro stop was at the end of the block. Here are a few pictures that I took from our hotel room window. If you stay in Paris, you should consider this hotel for its location and friendly staff. Luc and Veronique were extremely nice and helpful.

Love the cat in the window–although I’m a bit concerned for his safety! It’s so beautiful, you probably felt like you were waking every day to a dream.
